A group of friends came up with the idea for Akademska Rakija in 2015. After a long period of research, tasting, and collecting knowledge about rakija production processes, they decided to finally distill that perfect quince brandy they had dreamed of. They joined forces and moved from theory to practice, turning friendly gatherings into a product that won us all over.
